I often used to find my child ignoring when I called her. She also used to have difficulty keeping up conversations. I also had complaints from her teacher that she is having problems understanding what the teacher is saying in school. I took her to Dr. Yazdaneh Galt of Ace Audiology. Paediatric hearing test was conducted and it was found out that she had glue ear due to which she was unable to hear well. Dr. Galt very patiently made me understand what glue ear is and the causes of it and even told me that if it would have remained untreated, a permanent damage to the ear could have been caused. Thankfully, my daughter is now safe and she can hear everyone clearly and properly. Thanks Dr. Galt!
