February 2015 I took my car to The Auto Repair Shop in Narre Warren to have it looked at for a mechanical issue that was causing it to be very hard to start in the mornings. They told me they've found the problem, can definitely fix it for a grand total of $475. Guess what? Even after repair supposedly carried out and paid for, the exact issue happened the very next morning. I've contacted them for a pleasure explain and I've been told with a sly smile that they'll look at it again and try something else providing I pay for it...again...
I went to a different mechanic that replaced a $20 relay and problem's fixed.
Also they've quoted an overinflated price for a Repco part. I rang Repco parts myself and I could've saved $70 by buying the part and taking it to them (from Repco), but in that case the repair shop refused to offer me any warranty on the part...
