St John Ambulance has been serving the Western Australian community for over 100 years. We are a community based organisation with our primary role being to teach first aid and to care for the sick and injured.
Our primary services include: *Ambulance and paramedic care, *First aid training and products, *Volunteer first aid services at public events, *Community care services for the lonely, frail aged and disabled.
St John Ambulance covers the Perth metropolitan region from two rocks in the north to Port Kennedy in the south and Wundowie in the east. The area is serviced by 24 ambulance centres staffed by more than 500 paramedics and patient transport officers, with three ambulance centres staffed by volunteer ambulance officers.
St John Ambulance is committed to providing a high quality ambulance service for Western Australians. As such we closely monitor our performance through measures such as response times and an annual customer satisfaction survey. Response times are a key indicator in measuring our performance.
