The Rising Sun Hotel is one of Southern Melbourne’s most popular destinations for a number of reasons, but in all everyone has a good reason to visit. With a venue that can seat up to 100 people, the Hotel is a popular wedding, birthday and year end function venue. Every Thursday, the Hotel gets packed out for ‘Jazz on Thursdays’. This event features performances from top local and visiting Jazz musicians from all over the world. Finally, fans flock to the Hotel as it is the Melbourne home of the Sydney Swans (formerly known as the South Melbourne Football Club). Open every day of the week from 11AM to 1AM.
