"James De Bono graduated his remedial massage in September 2006 then went on to complete his Myotherapy course in December 2007. He is currently employed at the Melbourne Storm Rugby League Club, Melbourne Rebels Rugby Union Club and Essendon Football Club as a Myotherapist / Remedial Massage Therapist. In season ‘09 both teams that he worked with, the NRL squad and under 20’s, won the premiership. James also worked with the Queensland State of origin team while they were in Melbourne in 2015. The variety of challenges and the different injuries present when working with sporting clubs is what James enjoys and that's why he pursues jobs at the highest level in this industry. He also enjoys working with the everyday person and helping them with their pains, discomforts and maintenance issues. He has also worked with the Geelong Football Club, Western Bulldogs Football Club, the Green Gully Soccer Club, Sunshine Heights Football Club, Sunshine George Cross Soccer Club and The Australian Ballet. James looked after both seniors and reserve teams. His job at the Sunshine Heights Football Club consisted of soft tissue treatment and exercise rehabilitation. While at SHFC in 2008 the seniors won the division 2 premiership. At the Western Bulldogs in 07/08 James was able work alongside of sports physiotherapists and Doctors of Chinese medicine to advance in many skills, such as soft tissue techniques, exercise rehabilitation and traditional Chinese medicine, and apply them to his treatments. In the 2 years James was at GGSC (12-13) they were in the finals on both occasions and won the Dockerty Cup in 2013.Personal sporting experience:Under 10s -18s football in WRFL with Sunshine Heights. Participated in most sports as a teenager and enjoyed attending gym.
Currently enjoy bike riding and the occasional run.
