Parent Teen Matters was founded in 2006 by Debbie Bushell to create a service that specialises in supporting parents and teenagers. Since then her programmes have expanded to reach and assist parents, teenagers, children and people who work with youth and their parents.
Debbie's professional services include:
Individual coaching for parents, professionals, children or teenagers, and;
Seminar and workshops to parent groups, school staff or students and other organisations.
Parent coaching concepts are heavily focused on the importance of consistent interactions that aim to nurture positive relationships and empower youth to be the best they can. Debbie takes great pride to deliver vital ideas which can make a significant difference to the unique needs and challenges experienced by parents, children (or those at work) throughout the pre-teen and teenage years. She draws her concepts from the academic fields of education, coaching and psychology providing up-to-date relevant ideas that have meaning, purpose and address the various stages of adolescent development.
