Company description
Natural Gardeners are a Melbourne based organic garden maintenance and landscape construction company. We have been providing organic garden care, consultation, garden design, and landscape construction services for 5 years and pride ourselves on creating beautiful gardens for people that utilise permaculture design principles, available and recycled materials, and organic gardening practices
We practice organic gardening methods that build and support soil life using only organic forms of fertiliser and do not use synthetic herbicides or pesticides.
Organic garden maintenance is particularly suited to food gardens although we proudly maintain large ornamental gardens which benefit from the increased soil life that organic gardening supports.
Natural gardeners have extensive experience in soil building, tree and vine pruning, weeding, plant and soil advice, organic treatment of plant pest and disease, mulching, and composting
As much as possible we try to utilize garden waste on site and therefore strongly encourage composting. Composting builds soil, fertilises, increases soil life, and reduces maintenance costs. Composting options can be discussed, and does not necessarily have to be a bin or 1mtrĀ³ pile. If composting is not feasible we are able to remove garden prunings, clippings etc.
