Our Gold Coast (Yatala/Ormeau) facility is specially designed to help you learn applicable skills for your chosen trade or profession. If you’ve enrolled in one of our heavy vehicle training courses, our experienced trainers will teach you to drive on-site so you can build your confidence under the expert supervision of an accredited driving instructor. We also have classroom facilities to accommodate business and management courses and workshop sites catering for trade apprentices at the Gold Coast. Major Training also provides group training on the Gold Coast for employers with large numbers of staff looking to upskill. Whether you’re being taught one-on-one or as a group, you’ll always receive the same high standard of training with all our courses.

- Licence to perform rigging basic level
- A Rigging licence with Major Training Group is a nationally recognised qualification that will get you construction site ready for a range of roles that involve for example structural steel erection, movement of plant, hoists, mast climbers, and cantilevered crane loading platforms.
- Confined Space Training
- A confined space course from Major Training will give you the skills to work safely in enclosed or partially enclosed spaces held at atmospheric pressure during occupancy (but not designed to be primary worksites).
- Front End Loader Ticket
- A Front End Loader ticket with Major Training Group is a nationally recognised qualification that will give you the skills to operate this machinery on a construction site or a building site.
