The technique I teach promotes singing clearly and beautifully in English – the most difficult language to sing.
Whether you want to sing classical (opera/oratorio), musical theatre, pop, gospel or country music, this technique fully supports the singer in his attempt to best serve the composer, lyricist and listener.
At the first lesson, I will talk to the student (and parent if under 18) about what they want to get out of their lessons. Some people thrive in the relaxed atmosphere of just using their talent to its full potential, others enjoy the challenge of working towards exams. All my students participate in end-of-semester concerts. These concerts are for the student to develop his performance skills and for parents and friends to encourage the students.
My lessons operate in relation to the school term, i.e. 4 terms of 10 lessons. Each lesson takes 55 minutes and costs $45.00 for 16 years and older, 30 minutes for $30.00 for children aged 8-15. Fees for the whole term are usually paid up-front at the conclusion of the first lesson, however payment terms can be negotiated.
