Melbourne based boudoir and lifestyle photographer. Specialising in female portraiture, I aim to empower and inspire women to feel beautiful, confident and love themselves wholly.
I am a wife, a mother, a friend, a sister and a daughter. I am a woman on her journey to self love.
After predominantly being a stay at home mum for 5 years, I desperately needed a creative outlet to express myself. I'd always loved taking photos, whether it was a holiday snap or a picture of my kids playing in the backyard, I loved capturing moments in time and snapshots that will inspire memories in future.
I discovered my love for portraiture after capturing images of my girlfriends. I loved how through my image they could see themselves the way I saw them, beautiful, strong, loving mothers. In my experience, the monotony of everyday motherhood unintentionally devalues your self worth. You spend your children's formative years dedicating your entire self to them, often forgetting to invest in yourself.
But through my lens, I could capture their essence. The beauty, the love, the emotions and their story. I could remind them who they are inside.
I myself spent years, praying I could be different, praying I could weigh less, smile a little prettier, laugh a little softer. But after becoming a mother of two girls, I knew I had to do better, I had to set a good example. I had to learn to love and appreciate my body at every step of its journey. I wanted my daughters to love themselves. I want to inspire all women to love themselves and I believe through this journey, I can.
I am based in Werribee but am happy to travel throughout greater Melbourne.
