Fox Hay is a Melbourne based company specialising in timber, hardware, and building materials. Located in Port Melbourne Fox Hay has been supplying timber for building and all related accessories, including the Paslode nail guns.
The Fox Hay story begins way back in 1954, when the two co owners, Basil Fox and Ian Hay begun manufacturing wooden crates and boxes for packaging purposes. Eventually there was little need for wooden packaging as the availability of cardboard proliferated, at this point Fox Hay began to specialise in selling timber wholesale and by 1990 Fox Hay began selling Timber and carpentry supplies in a retail fashion.
Since then Fox Hay has become one of the best known timber suppliers in Melbourne. This is in part due to the company’s ability to source and buy a broad range of timbers at low prices, something that can be credited to the longstanding supplier relationships that began back in 1954.
