Bill Warner and Joan Street established Financial Education Professionals (FEP) in 2001 as an innovative provider of technical training to the wholesale financial services sector. Bill and Joan had previously enjoyed successful careers with the Securities Institute of Australia (SIA). They saw an opportunity, with the advent of ASIC’s PS146 (later RG146) guidelines, to improve the quality of financial services compliance education in Australia.
Over the years, FEP has developed close relationships with a variety of financial services companies and associations to serve their technical training needs, including ‘responsible manager’ assessments.FEP is an Australian leader in financial services compliance training. We are an ASIC Authorised Assessor for the purposes of RG146 and RG105 and a registered training organisation (90725) accredited to offer programs and qualifications throughout Australia.
We’ve evolved to adopt industry-leading teaching technologies and methodologies as they become available – including our state-of-the-art learning management system (LMS) and the contributions of elite industry practitioners and training specialists to develop clear, relevant content and rigorous assessments. We offer technical training to individuals as well as to companies, and continually explore new opportunities to serve our customers, enhance their learning experience and enrich relationships. We anticipate and respond to industry developments, particularly in the regulatory environment – changes that regulators consistently impose on the financial services industry.
