Hi! I’m Anastasia. I specialize in wedding photography that captures the essence of who people are, and the essence of a wedding.
I cater to couples who value photography as an art form, and who want to have a great time on their day. They often have wildly varying budgets that I work to, but for them, the quality of imagery is more important to them than hiring a ‘name’ photographer. They love my work, and trust that I will create images of them they’ll adore. My couples appreciate my preparation and attention to detail.
My couples want beautiful, natural images - their stories told in a way that takes them back, and makes them feel they are at the event all over again. Ultimately, they want to create a relaxed and intimate experience for all their guests and appreciate my candid, photojournalistic coverage, but at the same time the want some posing and direction as well for the formal photos, and want at least part of their day to be a ‘photo shoot.’
My images have an atmospheric quality, a soft grain, and unique variation that evokes the feeling of FILM. My photographic background is in medium-format film, and whilst I utilize medium-format digital capture, my approach is a bit slower than the rapid-fire shoot-everything-that-moves digital capture so prevalent now. I create every image for a reason.

Choosing a wedding photographer isn’t easy, but you should definitely love the work of any photographer you consider. Wedding coverage begins at a mere 2 hours, and can extend to 10 hours. Yep, I’m flexible, and can work with just about any budget.
