Affinity Day Spa is a spa offering a range of relaxation and restorative therapies during the hours of daylight, and until 9:00pm on Thursdays. It is located in Station Street, Cottesloe, with abundant parking readily to hand.
Affinity Day Spa employs a team of therapists, led by Alex Collis, a native of Perth who trained in Perth before spending two and a half years in England, working at Champneys. All Affinity Day Spa therapists are fully trained and highly experienced in the therapies they practise.
Therapies available at Affinity Day Spa include:
Lithos Therapy – a synthesis of cryotherapy and thermotherapy in which heated and refrigerated rocks are used as massage instruments, enhancing the effect of the therapy on aching muscles and sore joints. Lithos Therapy is particularly suited to people engaged in sports and other especially vigorous activity.
Aromatherapy – using essential oils to treat stress-related disorders such as insomnia, exhaustion and skin problems.
Pregnancy aromatherapy – aromatherapy adapted specially to cater for pregnancy.
Reflexology – a therapy based on the premise that regions of the body are reflected in different areas of the feet. Reflexology promotes blood-flow, enhancing general vitality.
Reiki – A Japanese word meaning, literally, “universal energy”. The therapist’s hands are held over the patient to promote energy flow, physical and emotional healing and wellbeing.
Affinity Day Spa patrons can choose from individual treatments, or from a range of packages, including a full day “Indulgence”. Gift vouchers are available.
Affinity Day Spa provides disposable underwear and, where appropriate, a robe.
